Greetings dear ones … Dan here …
We have all to be thankful for:
“giving thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Ephesians 5:20
Let us give thanks in this special season!
Yesterday got a bit dicey. Around 10 pm, I was admitted to Penrose ER for severe chest pains on my right side, that radiated to my back. Spending all night in ER, all tests (CT scan, X-rays, bloodwork(Troponin T)) indicated normal levels and conditions. So this morning I was discharged, and now back home. Grateful!
Yesterday was juxtaposed to last week, where I received all good news from my first out-patient cardiac-thoracic doctors, who were so encouraged at my progress.
I’m learning to measure my progress in weekly increments, not days, as each week has varying measures of how I feel and how much I can/cannot do. Ex. … yesterdays’ ER visit was only a few hours after an excellent PT session. Ironic!
In this special season of thankfulness, savor deeply all those relationships of love in friends and family! We are such a privileged people, to have Christ, His Spirit and Father in our lives … sharing it all with equal partakers of this good life in the Lord.
Joyful Thanksgiving to you, from Nora and me …
Dan
